On Island Time: Bali Guide
Amongst the utter chaos that comes with shooting a full season of collections overseas, our Co-Founders Rose and Ness managed to squeeze in a few moments of leisure during their latest work trip to Bali.
We love taking the opportunity to explore new places - from shopping, to hidden gem bars (including the most iconic karaoke bar that they just had to revisit), and incredible restaurants that left a long lasting taste in our mouths and were full of good vibes. We thought we'd curate a special little guide recapping some of our favourite places we visited - so you've got everything in one spot when you're planning your next vacay (or simply enjoy a virtual vacay!)
EAT
The most beautiful garden restaurant, recommends delicious Scallops and on point spicy margs (our faves!) This gorgeous spot will be on our hit list again when we return!
Seriouslyyyyy amazing mid century style timber decor and the only place we found our one true love, Balinese Pet Nat. The most yummy selection of Italian food as well. Add this to your ‘must visit’ list!
This gorgeous little Mediterranean lunch spot has Kura Kura beer which is brewed on the island on tap - just delish after a day of shopping in the Bali humidity! 
DRINK
A fun little speakeasy bar with dreamy interiors with lush armchair seating, steezy bartenders and a seriously sizeable cocktail menu. They also had the most epic tunes playing which gave it such a vibe, we were shazaming so many songs in there!
Seriously exclusive, The Shady Fox is the most incredible speakeasy secret bar that you need a password to enter - very exclusive! Think games and old school cocktail selections. The bartenders are such showmen here. It’s a must.
You really can’t go past this institution! Think incredibly vibrant and detailed deco (the most perfect backdrop for outfit pics!), a fun vibe with good music while sipping on a delicious marg and side of guac and chips! We’ll always have time to visit this fun spot! 
EXPERIENCE
We LOVED staying at Zin Resort & Villas - the perfect place to retreat for some calm after a busy day shoot and in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Canggu. Beautiful lush green landscapes, with breakfast included which is such a bonus to keep your daily costs down. We recommend the in-house massage service and room with a private pool.
Need we say more? Of course we had to galavant to our favourite karaoke bar - our ultimate highlights of the trip were made right here! We were belting out Alanis Morissette, Drops of Jupiter and so many more hits were performed with our gorgeous makeup artist Bec Wilson. Rose also killed it with her solo performance of Gin and Juice (which she has memorised word for word by the way..haha)
SHOPPING
Beautiful resin homewares reminiscent of the iconic Dinosaur Designs. Ness couldn’t leave without getting her hands on a wavy fruit bowl!
Couldn't not visit this amazing place again! incredible one off sculptures, unusual artwork and large scale art. Must see, very inspiring!
If you’re on the hunt for beautiful forever treasures - this store showcases beautiful gold plated and silver jewellery.
Such a beautiful little concept store that is definitely worth a visit. Full with eclectic homewares and so many treasures - including jewellery and super sweet kids trinkets!
