TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF- WHO YOU ARE, WHERE YOU’RE FROM AND WHAT SETS YOUR SOUL ON FIRE?
Hi, my name is Ksenia Islamova. I'm an international model and beginning actress that has traveled the world for about 14 years now. I’m also an owner of two businesses in Bali, clothing brand @IKstore.Indonesia and photo studio, @IKstudio.bali I was born and raised in Russia in a small village, called Mekhonskoe. My true desire is to travel the world as much as I can and become the best version of myself to live the life I never had as a child.
YOU RECENTLY SHOT WITH US IN BALI, WHAT ARE SOME HIGHLIGHTS FROM SHOOT DAYS WITH US?
First of all, I want to say big thanks to the team for being such kind hearted and nice people. I always admire Australian brands. Easy going, fun, happy. The shoot was very much like that too! It was amazing - great positive vibe and amazing results!
YOU SHOT QUITE A FEW DIFFERENT COLLECTIONS (INCLUDING SOME EXCITING YET TO BE LAUNCHED COLLECTIONS) WHICH PIECES CAN YOU SEE YOURSELF LIVING IN THE MOST THAT WE SHOT?
I like boho style in general. I think the green Sami Shirt & Reggie Pants from Love Song looked amazing on me and really reflected my eye colour. I loved this style!
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONAL STYLE?
I’m very mixed. One day I like urban, the other day is classic, on weekends it’s sport chic. There is not one for everyday I guess.
CAN YOU DESCRIBE A TYPICAL DAY IN THE LIFE?
I work a lot haha. I wake up with phone calls and messages. Coffee and I either go to shoot as a model, or I go to my studio as a boss! It’s fun!
FAVOURITE PLACE YOU'VE VISITED FOR WORK & FOR LEISURE?
Very difficult question! I’ve been asked many times before. Always hard to pick one country. Work is great in the USA, for me personally LA. For leisure, I guess it was Cape Town in South Africa. But combining work and leisure is Bali, where I found my home!
