A day in the life of our competition winners

Recently we ran a super fun competition on Instagram to win the chance to be featured in your very own NLB photoshoot. The prize consisted of a photoshoot for you and a friend, an exciting location (The Cabana Casuarina), hair and makeup professionally done and an in house NLB stylist and photographer. It was a fashion lovers dream prize!

Maddy was the lucky winner of our giveaway and brought her sister along to join in on the fun. The sisters played dress ups and were styled head to toe in three different NLB collections. It was a day filled with lots of excitement and fun. The girls even got to set eyes on our new collection, Locomotion, before we had released any sneak peeks.

My name is Maddy Northeast, I live in Tugun on the Gold Coast. Something that sets my soul on fire is wearing a banging outfit at a music festival and having a boogie with my friends.

My prize was a FREE photo shoot for myself and a friend (I chose my sister). We got spoilt! Makeup and hair done, served beverages and treats and modelled three different looks in the cutest little Airbnb in Casuarina.

I choose my sister Ebony! I choose her because I knew together, we would have the best time with no pressure to be perfect but to just have fun!

WHICH OUTFIT BEST REPRESENTED YOUR PERSONAL STYLE AND WHY?

Probably a mix of all of them! My personal style changes depending on how I feel that day.

HOW DID YOU DISCOVER NINE LIVES BAZAAR?

I first discovered NLB one day when I was walking around Coolangatta with my friend and we stumbled across the store and fell in love. I bought some wicked velvet flares!!

WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT NINE LIVES BAZAAR?

I love that they are so creative, free and don’t discriminate and have the best sense of community. Also their clothes are so dreamy and really good quality!
